I know a few books that turn people into complete assholes. They all talk of a magical man in the sky.

So, I’ve heard all about potter “turning the kids to satinists”, but what book is “turning the kids trans”?
I am looking for new books to read
Most people are aware that sexuality is not a choice (I mean, who would choose to be LGBTQ+ in a society that treats them so badly?).
So, why would they accuse books of turning someone gay? Because it shows the reader that they don’t have to hide who they are. That’s it. They are afraid that their children won’t suppress their sexuality and suffer in silence like a ‘good’ Christian, Muslim, or whatever religious person should.
If a trans and/or gay character in a story can turn your kids trans and/or gay, then why isn’t literally every person cis and straight?
