There’s a recent experiment done by Japanese scientist that injected liquid oxygen into the intestines through the rectum and it showed that ones blood could be significantly oxygenated through those means. Imagine not having to intubate people for surgery and emergency purposes. Could provide a lot of lifesaving benefits.
