I wear my AW most of the time, but I have a few analog watches that I like to wear on the weekends or when going to nice places. I have had analog watches my whole life before buying the AW so I like to take them out sometimes.

Could you give examples of places where smart watches/devices are not allowed? I’m not sure I can think of a situation apart from taking an official exam.
Well I workout in the sense that I do bouldering, but I never wear my watch during my sessions as I am a bit worried about breaking it and the watch is not very well adapted to do measurements for bouldering.
I initially bought my watch for sleep measurements. Now I also use it to keep track of my daily activity, mostly while I’m at work to make sure I stand up enough for example. I also use it as an alarm in the morning which is very nice for my partner. Basically it allows me to be less distracted by my phone.
I am not super sure, but from what I know, you cannot customize what the side button does on the watch, but on the watch ultra, you can customize what the action button does. I do not own an ultra so I couldn’t try to set it up directly but the simplest would be to just set the action button to turn on the flashlight at anytime.

To turn it on in sleep mode, maybe it is possible in the focus settings. Otherwise maybe an automation in shortcuts. I doubt it it really possible though sorry.
It made me realise that I do not have enough deep sleep per night and it got confirm later by a doctor, unfortunately I haven’t found a way to solve that yet, but at least I know I’m not crazy.
