Are there any Apple Watch users who don’t workout? If so what do you use your watch for?

Sleep tracking, HR tracking, all of the other health stats that don’t include workouts, viewing and responding to messages, taking calls if my phone is in another room, other notifications, controlling media, smart home commands, checking the time, setting timers, a wake up alarm.

Tracking workouts is only one part of a whole lot of stuff the watch is able to do.

It tells the time. It lets me quickly glance at received messages and notifications. It has a quick kitchen timer. I pay for things with it (via Apple Wallet). I view and mark up my shopping list at the grocery store. I see 24 different pictures of my Labrador Retriever, and that makes me happy. (Obviously, my Apple Watch was a gift, but I try to make the most of it…)

That’s an odd question. I count 44 apps on my watch. Only three or four of them have anything to do with exercise.

Well I workout in the sense that I do bouldering, but I never wear my watch during my sessions as I am a bit worried about breaking it and the watch is not very well adapted to do measurements for bouldering.

I initially bought my watch for sleep measurements. Now I also use it to keep track of my daily activity, mostly while I’m at work to make sure I stand up enough for example. I also use it as an alarm in the morning which is very nice for my partner. Basically it allows me to be less distracted by my phone.
