I’m omad normally; just hit 30 hours thinking about food a bit but not hungry.

I’ve been considering adding regular fasting into my schedule, maybe weekend fasts?
The longest fast I’ve done is 5 days before, but that was back when i was doing crappy keto, and now i’ve been strict zero carb for awhile.

I have done two three day ones, it was just not practical from a timing perspective so I had to stop them earlier and then somehow to be honest I kind of forgot about it.
For me it stays off for some time but over long time it creeps up again and then I need to do something again, etc. Nowadays I’m going to the gym regularly (only twice a week but still much better than not at all before). From a weight loss perspective it doesn’t really do anything but I feel much stronger and much less sleepy, etc.
When I did Keto about 6 years ago for half a year I lost 30 kg, I gained back 20 of them and now lost 8 of them again but still chasing my lowest from back then, but it’s difficult.
The same happened with keto for me. Keto is too hard to stick to for me, that’s what got me on to zero carb or carnivore as it’s commonly called (when I started I was on /r/zerocarb, the other name was just influencers back then)
Keto is hard; meat, butter, fish and eggs is easy
The weight is coming off much slower than on keto, but I feel much healthier
sounds like keto really worked for you; was keto itself difficult to maintain?
I wrote about it back then: https://jeena.net/changing-diet
As long as I lived alone and especially during covid it was super easy. Then I went on a very long business trip to South Korea and met my now wife there, once we moved in together and were a family it became extremely difficult to maintain Keto because that means to totally seperatelly to cook and eat.
yeah, thats rough
