    This is so dumb. You can’t “coerce” someone to do work at this very high level – either they have the aptitude and some kind of desire for it, or they fail. It’s like the claim I’ve run into in musical circles that David Oistrakh was only a great musician because the Soviet authorities put a gun to his head. You simply don’t produce real competence in a skilled profession this way.

    And, in light of some recent lib incursions (and resulting discussions) here on the 'grad: it’s funny that libs will in all cases defend prostitution as a “free choice” and yet cry bloody hell when it come to women being given the education and opportunity to become scientists, academics, etc. Almost as if they are the ones who really don’t view women as full human beings.

      Capitalism = freedom

      Socialism = coercion

      This is true in all cases regardless of how good or bad something a system does to people is.

      Is it coerced because the liberals dictate that all Eastern Europeans want to be backward just like how they dictate that abducted Indigenous children in North America and Australia from 1850s to 1998 “want” to live in oppression, sell their inheritance to their slave drivers in Indian Residential fake schools, and stop the investigation of their deaths in houses of forced orphanages that were under the management of racist white savages from the governments and Anti-Christ churches of European immigrants? I doubt that coercion actually led to gender equality in the Communist countries since the former Communist countries decided to continue the gender equality even under the takeover by socially Conservative populists and the contradiction by liberals who made the unproven coercion allegation contrary to the liberal ideology that coercion could never work much less persist long after the coercion. The Western European diaspora oligarchy only support gender equality in name only (if they ever did voice for it) and actually oppose it in reality, so why would an oppressive regime that follows the Western European diaspora’s redefinition of dictatorship implement real gender equality; are the liberals finally admitting that the USSR was more faithful to the liberal principle of equity, pluralism, and democracy?

      Additionally a lot of otherwise completely academically uninterested people are being forced into getting university degrees they have no need for, only to get jobs they could be trained for in 1 or 2 years after secondary school. Capitalism is literally coercing people into being academics to pay rent, and it shows with the never-ending increase in shoddy and pointless research.

    “I don’t understand, I thought I was going to get to be treated as a sex object and sell my body after the revolution?”

    “Just publish the fucking research papers!”

      But! But! Weren’t they going to nationalize all women??

      spoiler

      Equally devastating was the story about the nationalization of women. […] for months [this] was assiduously taught to the American People as truth.

        Weird that they didn’t keep going with that. Though I suppose the CHUDs these days demand a “state issued girlfriend” so it would probably make them more supportive, not less.

          I remember reading that some guys actually went to RSFSR to check this and came back disappointed. Some didn’t came back since after knowing the truth about RSFSR they became communists, and probably this scared the Hearst so much that he abandoned this line and invented the hologramodomor, which is much safer since nobody gonna go and check famine.

            They probably do … They probably or won’t realise that, forcing another to be with them, even if the person chose to work the state agency that does “state assigned life partners” would quickly find the partner won’t like their negativity or abusive ways. Then they’ll see what it’s like having someone who doesn’t want them. They’ll see that it’s so awful for them …

    It’s clearly because we need more female CEO’s and drone pilots, not more women that help humanity improve themselves. How are you meant to girlboss on the cutting edge of science when you can’t write witty LinkedIn productivity hacks or make propaganda enlistment videos?

    Unrelated but what is up with your upvotes? Not that I don’t rate your content but they seem to come ridiculously fast.
