French Revolution 2: Electric Boogaloo
I think it’s a good idea. Majority of people hold mainstream political views largely due to the fact that they’ve grown up with these beliefs and haven’t had cause to critically evaluate them. As people in the mainstream become disillusioned with mainstream politics, they may be more open to considering alternative ideologies like communism. So, it’s really important for communists to have discussion with such people and to educate them.
The bit about salaries in China now being on part with Europe is a really important bit. It’s not about cheap labour, it’s about planning!
I’m personally optimistic given what we’re seeing happening in China in terms of energy transition. China has lots of scientists who must understand what’s happening with the climate, and what to expect. I don’t get the impression that there is nihilism in China like there is in the west, so they must think that this problem will be tractable.
I do expect that we will see a lot of global disasters happening as a result of climate change, and life will get hard around the world as a result. But I also hope that enough of humanity will be able to come together to push through these problems and ensure that our civilization continues.
I don’t think there’s any value in having a fatalistic view on this. We can’t know that we’ll make it, but all we can do is work towards making the world better and hope that what we do will be enough.
I agree, nothing cuts through the propaganda like people actually visiting and seeing the country with their own eyes. I wonder if this might also cause brain drain from Europe as economic situation continues to deteriorate.
I also love how they picked NASA and EPA to talk about. When people talk about deep state they don’t mean NASA or EPA, they mean FBI, DHS, NSA, and CIA.
Short answer is no. The longer answer is that focusing on any niche political group is fundamentally misguided. It’s important to remember that the majority of people hold mainstream political views, often without deeply considered convictions. This is largely due to the fact that they’ve grown up with these beliefs and haven’t had cause to critically evaluate them. However, as economic conditions worsen and people become increasingly disillusioned with mainstream politics, they may be more open to considering alternative ideologies like communism.
Therefore, rather than focusing on a group that already holds a hostile ideology, it’s more effective for communists to target those who are open to new ideas and perspectives. While it may seem beneficial to try and deprogram nazis, it’s ultimately misguided and unlikely to produce desired results. Instead, the focus should be on those who are disillusioned with mainstream politics and open to considering new ideas - a group that’s far more likely to be receptive to communist ideology.
It’s possible, but it’s also worth noting that the standards of living in the west are already in a rapid decline as we speak. Diverting significant resources towards the military industrial complex will only make the situation worse. It’s almost guaranteed that there will be more austerity going forward which will lead to further radicalization of the public.
I really don’t see how the rhetoric can translate into action while the west is being run by financial capitalists. What would be requires is creating massive state owned industry and training up the workforce. Financial oligarchs absolutely despise having to do that sort of public spending.
An interesting question is which side didn’t want to have visa free travel. Entirely possible that the Russian government didn’t want to make travel to China too easy.
It is kind of surprising that China still doesn’t allow visa free travel from Russia to be honest. And found the list of countries, amusingly Belarus is on the list.

lol right
From what I’ve seen, public opinion is very much against the war in Europe. The ghouls running the EU will try anything they can to keep this going, but my expectation is that it’s just going to result in their downfall in the end.
I think Europeans would be cool funding proxy wars and sending weapons, but I doubt there’s appetite to go and fight themselves to be honest.
That’s a pretty neat use case. And yeah dedicated GPU is kind of a must for running locally.
I feel like maybe the modern version should have a Gauss accelerator for the blade or something :)
