Every time right-wing people talk about individualism I go like Padme in the meme and ask “That will mean common people will have the right to free expression, right?”. Because most right-wingers only believe in economic individualism.

Collectivism vs individualism was always a false dichotomy, as the forces that de-individualize us also don’t care for the well being of the collective. They’re ultimately expressions of hierarchical systems that burn individual humans and unique peoples as fuel for raw uncaring power.
