Yep. It’s the position of liberals throughout history. It’s even worse now though since their are so many more “toys” to keep them pacified. Like as long as they can watch YouTube and eat Taco Bell they’d be ok with their neighbors getting shipped to GITMO.
I’ll have you know I find Taco Bell disgusting and Youtube has gotten really boring.
And also my enjoyment of “toys” is still tainted with the knowledge that we’re all fucked.

To a degree that’s probably why I’m even on lemmy. Being angry at you fucks vocally is letting me at least feel something other than horrible dread.
EDIT: I also want to specify: I WANT TO BE WRONG. I want you to convince me I’m wrong and dumb or whatever. Almost all I get is attacks on my virtue and character and I don’t give a fuck. I want to care about life again. I liked not being a misanthrope. I want to go back. None of you are ever convincing that I’m wrong you just get pissy and tell me I’m a bad person.
