There’s an entire subset of people who consider any sort of direct criticism, no matter how valid and polite to be a personal attack. “Can you please do the dishes” means “you forgot to do the dishes and me reminding you is directly pointing out your failures” and see that as directly calling them a failure. This sort of thing might work on these types, who also tend to be incredibly passive aggressive.

As a person who has strong bipolar tendencies but not over the threshold for a diagnosis even I struggle with these sorts of things and often find myself asking “is this thought not just self sabotage at the end of the day?” I’m also physically disabled and go to a lot of doctors appointments, who now use AI for notes and I don’t like it either but to allow that to stand in the way of my care would absolutely be self sabotage. If my doctors started outsourcing other aspects of their jobs to AI I would seriously have a problem and would reconsider my position but note taking is incredibly time consuming for doctors and if using software that transcribes our conversations allows them to be better at their actual job of being a doctor that’s a compromise I can make, especially when I remind myself bipolar symptoms often get in the way of a persons willingness to compromise

I’ve seen several outlets say “travel further from earth than any other humans” and I think that’s the angle that should be taken here since we aren’t actually going to the moon, we are actually going around it, going as far away as we ever have which is incredible in and of itself then returning. Considering what country NASA is located in I doubt the symbolically inflated language is an accident

Well that depends, did you visit it or drive around it? These are fundamentally different things. Did you go there, enter the park, stay inside the park for a time and leave? Then you went there. Did you never enter the park and literally drove around its perimeter and went back to your starting location? Because that’s driving around it.

Pressure cooker will force steam between the membrane and egg with no hole needed so you get the same effect with longer shelf life - probably doesn’t matter if you have your own chickens and are in the routine of doing it daily but I prefer no poking of holes so I can make a weeks worth at a time and if I forget them they stay fresh in their unbroken shells
