As a general rule, it’s kind of weird to endorse (or refuse to endorse) political candidates in countries where you don’t have voting rights.
There’s a lot to say about how American politics matters enough to the state of the world that anyone has a right to an opinion on them, but you could say the same thing about Russia and China and it’d still be weird if American activists publicy endorsed (or refused to endorse) their political candidates.
Perhaps in context people have asked her for a statement but it sounds like this is a relatively unprompted X.com post.

Lol, I hear people in the US commenting on Putin all the time and the only reason they don’t actually endorse other candidates is because they don’t know shit about Russian politics. I’m not saying I do either, but I’m not going around commenting on Russian plotics all that often either. I would say commenting on other countries politics is incredibly common in the US. I would also wager a guess that a lot of the people from other countries who comment on US politics know more about it then a lot of the US citizens commenting on other countries politics.
You seem to think commenting on politics is the same thing as a campaign endorsement for some reason.

Kind of. “Minor parties” are allowed as long as they don’t actually challenge the CCP for control, the CCP gets to approve all of their candidates, and of course all put together they somehow can never quite break the CCP supermajority in the national congress.
