      It’s sorta true. Look at the avatar movies. They’re wildly successful. They’re just super expensive high end CGI (which actually looked like shit at times in the 2nd movie) but they have the most dogshit lazy storyline ever made. First one is a ripoff of Pocahontas and the 2nd one plays like it was written by a 5 year old.

      The 2nd The Thing movie (2011) was critisized because the monsters looked like buttcheeks due to the crappy CGI.

      To be fair there’s a ton of movies that have absolutely fantastic CGI. I guess we’ll see if any movies have fantastic AI written plots? I highly doubt it. AI is different. It’s offloading the CREATIVITY to a machine. Even CGI isn’t doing that. It’s still taking a HUMAN’S creativity and making it come to life. What is AI doing? It’s doing the creative work itself.
