He wasnt vetted. He was the cost for Peter Theils support. This is what happens when every descision is transactional.

I figured it had to be something. Hell, even just with the weird shit in Vance’s book, it should have been a no brainer.

Or would he be a weirdo that would distract from trump’s weirdness enough. When they lose Vance will be kicked to the curb and forgotten by everyone.

I wonder whether anything about him will move the needle much. A third will not care about anything and the “undecided” cannot tell the difference between a christian fascist party and a moderate right wing party.

Elections are won at the margins. Even if you convince just a tiny % each time he does something horrible, it can add up. Regardless of minds being changed, it can still affect likelihood of people showing up at the polls

As an aside, I highly recommend volunteering for the campaign. You’ll quickly discover that undecideds do indeed exist and some can be certainly be convinced. Quite often they are more low-information voters and unaware of much of republican’s horrific plan

Link with places to volunteer around you

Nah, there’s an endless supply of bootlickers who will subject themselves to any indignity just for a tiny spot in the limelight.
