I don’t believe there is a “deep state,” but I do believe that Trump owes people money and favors, and I believe those people would kill him to keep secrets he could spill. Really the only question is whether they can get to him, given that he has round the clock secret service protections. Before they got to Epstein, I would have believed that a maximum security isolation cell under suicide watch would have been safe.
