The cult helped get her elected in heavily Democratic Hawaii (outside of the billionaires stealing water and land to build luxury bunkers of course) She was never “REALLY” a Democrat. She managed to get some influence inside the party for a short time. But her past was always bobbing just below the surface. Making it hard to keep up the charade. She exited the party at her peak. Because she knew what was coming. And also because Republicans really like cults. As long as she’s sychopantic she can get more access and influence than she ever could as a Democrat.
