I feel like every photo of me is fake and I'm really awful looking when people see me in IRL - eviltoast

The first photo is what I think is closest to how people realistically see me as. I just feel like socially transitioning was a mistake, and maybe hrt can’t help me. Keep in mind at the point that photo was taken I was a year and many months in.

    Wrong community!! (joking)

I only see a girl with self-confidence issues in these pictures. Low self-confidence makes everybody look awful. I know its cliche, but I don’t care. You need to hear this. Girl you need to smile moooore!~

In the top pic you look like you’re absolutely done with everyone’s shit and just want to leave. It isn’t a flattering photo in general. The picture in the middle is my fav, there’s a little bit of a smile there and seems almost genuine. The last pic is heckin’ cute with your expression fr fr it almost brings me back to the myspace days. 10/10 would rawr ;3 again

Seriously though, I wouldn’t have clocked you if you hadn’t said anything. Your hair is gorge and you will absolutely slay if you style it. I love the texture!

Very much this. I mean I am not trans but I am trans affiliated because my ex-girlfriend’s youngest daughter is trans and I’ve had a few years to become aware of what that means at least for her, and one of the biggest complaints that I heard was that she hated her body, which makes sense because she’s gender dysphoric.

I don’t have any good words of wisdom or takeaways from that and save that hopefully it’s helpful to know that you’re not alone and many people who are walking a similar path to you have the same feelings that you’re having about how you look in photos, and hopefully it’s all part of the process.

At the very least you have the drive to reach out to other people for feedback and and to share wisdom and experience so that you can improve things and that is a good sign and you should be proud of yourself for that.
