I recently decided to rewatch all the Marvel movies, because I’m boring, and after Guardians it took a pretty big turn.

Going from the more gritty drama with some funny one liners ever so once in awhile, to let’s see how many one liners and nonchalant comedy we can put in.

Then after Endgame they ramped that shit up

I feel like the character differences between the heroes have vanished. Now they’re all just Deadpool’s personality but with different powersets

I really liked guardians of the galaxy. There is something about the settings and colours and everything just feels right as a standalone movie. I rewatch it every now and then. All the other disney slop i usually turn off pretty soon, because i remember why they are bad. The last thor movies are especially weird, they are like a parody of a good movie. Love and thunder i think it was reminds me of that “meet the spartans” movie for some reason. I’m not even sure if i watched that one.

Yeah the last two were done by Taika Waititi, and if you’ve seen any of his other movies its on par with that directing style.

Imo Thor Ragnarok was the best standalone Thor movie, even if they completely changed the character.

The Love and Thunder one just felt like a repeat of Ragnarok in a lot of ways.
