Florida abortion clinics squeeze in as many patients as possible ahead of 6-week ban - eviltoast

Clinic staff described packed waiting rooms, full parking lots and phones ringing nonstop in the final days before the state’s new law takes effect.

Abortion clinics in Florida say they have been trying to see as many patients as possible before the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks takes effect Wednesday.

In Jacksonville, a clinic called A Woman’s Choice provided around double its usual volume of abortions Monday, according to Amber Gavin, its vice president of advocacy and operations.

The waiting room has been so crowded that patients’ companions were asked to stay in their cars or drop people off to free up space, Gavin said. Parking spaces were also scarce, prompting some patients to park off-site and walk to the clinic.

“Tomorrow is going to look very different,” Kelly Flynn, CEO of A Woman’s Choice, said Tuesday. “A lot of patients will come in for the consult and be told that we can’t see them.”

Whatever if it’s abortion legal or illegal, paternity renounce should be legal, men should be fighting for their rights also…

Women deserve rights and men also, if women are fighting for legal abortion men should be fighting for legal renounce of paternity.

How about we work on stopping the thing that kills people first and then work on the money issue?

You do know women die in childbirth every day, right?

Then women should get their tubes tied if they don’t want to die of childbirth. I don’t know if it’s legal but it should be.

Sorry… “if you don’t want to get pregnant right now you should sterilize yourself?” What the fuck?

It’s the same argument someone gave me about vasectomy and getting your testicles removed just in other words. Dumb as fuck tbh.

Okay? Why are you giving me a stupid argument someone else gave you? If it’s a stupid argument, don’t make it.

Extremes are both wrong, I’m just saying if there is legal abortion for women then there should be legal for men to renounce to their paternity, if women are not right now ready to be mothers then men who are not right now ready to be fathers should have the option to not be one also.

Termination of Parental Rights is a legal process that is available in some states. Some being the key term.
