      I wonder if adjunct professors aren’t even called professors. My ex and all of her colleges were getting paid in the 80k range at cal state la, which publishes their salaries online.

        The big thing is adjuncts are not tenure track and not even be full time. People I know in the field talk about it like a dead end, so I think of it similarly to outsourcing in my own field.

        However the author stated they were tenured, so he’s in an unusually good position, making the criticisms all the stronger
