Being reported as doxxing, but I don’t see anything in our rules or the lemmy.world rules that would block this.

I’ll float it to the admins and see what they say.

I mean, it was doxxing, but it’s sort of common knowledge since this was published. They ripped the band aid off and now the info is everywhere. It’s sort of pointless to delete it if it’s already out there imo

Edit: Also, if you want to be a fuckin celebrity, deal with it. You got doxxed. You can’t really be famous and anonymous. It’s one thing when it’s Guliani calling on people to harass some random ass election workers, it’s another when you’re kinda famous

Did this big smelly butthole wanna be a celebrity or wanna sell crappy merch and hate people?

When I try to remove my bias…

Would I expect Elmousk to remove my real name if I made comics shitting on nazi buttplugs like in the OP?

Legit question. I should be able to make anti-nazi comics without getting firebombed, period.

Buttt I kinda deserve to get fired if I’m employed by a pro-nazi boss and my infosec sucks and my name leaks.

          Any of y’all got answers?

This isn’t doxxing, it’s reporting on doxxing.

          Completely different and totally cool!

My work is similar to those often featured by Charlie Hebdo, published in the New York Times, and shown on Family Guy

Guy thinks pretty highly of his shitty cartoons.

Hah, my work is similar, that’s brilliant actually.

As I’m writing this comment I’m using words often used by William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill, Lady Gaga, as well as words featured in the King James Bible.

I appreciate that they included as much information as they did to really solidify their points.

Speaking with the admins, I’m going to remove this comment based on this lemmy.world policy:

      https://legal.lemmy.world/tos/#2-respecting-other-users-privacy-doxing

The phrasing is a little vague, there’s some discussion on re-writing it and what the definition of “publicly available” is.

If things change and the comment is allowed under the new phrasing, I’ll restore it. For now we’re choosing to err on the side of caution.

or that it is publicly available information

Isn’t it though? That’s sort of the point of the article. Also, his name is now publicly available many places.
