Am I naive to hope that a majority dem house would suddenly get productive between now and the election?

The moment Dems gain control of house, DINOs like Manchin and Sinema will put on their “bipartisanship” make up and block any sensible legislation in senate

Depends on where you put the bar. Will it be more productive? Almost certainly. Will it be much more productive? Doubtful.

Depends if we get enough of a margin that it would take a bunch of Manchin/Sinemas to fuck things up

I’m fairly positive that there are a lot more Democrats in Congress more than willing to destroy and water down any progressive bills. Manchin was just from a conservative enough area that he could safely be vocal about it. I am really curious to see who would be next once he’s gone and if the Democrats manage to get majorities again.
