The Christian Post reports: With play-by-play announcers, color commentary, a referee, and a stage covered in AstroTurf, the Crossroads pulpit resembled Allegiant Stadium more than any church on Sunday morning as Senior Pastor Brian Tome and Pastor Alli Patterson sported football jerseys as they took the stage for the “pregame” coin flip. After Tome wins …
I think you’re missing the rank hypocrisy of it all, not to mention the utter stupidity of fools claiming enlightenment while unable to fathom how dim they appear to others.
"No matter what you believe, you might be a little confused at some point, but I believe you will and can experience God and church in a fresh new way.”
Reid also acknowledged the question many viewers of the service likely had.
“You might be wondering why on Earth would we do something like this,” he said.
One of the reasons, said Reider, was because “we believe that church can and should be fun.”
I think that’s all completely fair. I know nothing about this church or their teachings but I can applaud them for having an unbunched panties attitude. (now if they’re a hate-church, which I don’t think they are, then they can fuck the fuck off)
“At Crossroads, Tome says that the church is trying to walk the line between welcoming LGBTQ+ members and adhering to what he says are biblical traditions. Tome says that Crossroads does not affirm LGBTQ+ individuals in all ways.”
Imagine getting mad at a community having fun at service.
I don’t like the church but this is some nitpicky shit.

They are a hate church and/or a cult.
A few (of the many) red flags:
“We believe the Bible is God’s inerrant truth and it’s the foundation to everything we do.”
“The fact that we live in 21st century, it doesn’t change the message that God gave 2000 years ago”
“Crossroads wants to be a place where Christ-followers reproduce Christ-followers, leaders reproduce leaders and churches reproduce other churches.”
“We expect every person to be moving closer to reflecting the complete image of Christ in every area of life.”
“We believe that the Bible, composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, is the inspired word of God and without error in the original writing.”
“Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.”
They literally admit they’re cult in the FAQ page
Surprise, surprise, they’re doing tithing
If you check their annual reports, they have some $86+ million is assets and $6 million in cash(!)
But if you don’t believe me, ask the people who actually personally know this church. Their priest is giving transphobic sermons, and the SPLC listed them as a hate group.

Imagine not getting mad at a hate church.
Oh wait, you don’t have to.
