Four Times more Effective than a Double Barrel Shotgun - Colt Defender (1967) - eviltoast

The Defender Mark I is an eight-barreled [20 gauge] combination gun of sorts, with the eight barrels built around a double action revolver-like mechanism fired by a hammer. It has an alloy steel receiver and is finished in epoxy paint. The Defender Mark I also had two triggers; the rear trigger fired off the magnum shells, while the second trigger in front was used for “instinctive firing”.

Yeah none of the writing I’ve found effectively conveys much information around it. It also doesn’t help Colt came out with another more popular gun by the same name.
