I maintain that Stalin is the most maligned Marxist revolutionary because he was the most potent, not only in terms of what was achieved under his leadership but also his literary works and rhetoric. The man wrote and spoke in such a succinct and convincing way, he had to be smeared the most lest westerners be exposed to his ideas
Stalin, Lenin, and Mao are hated in the west precisely because they managed to put ideas into practice. They showed how to organize workers, how to seize power, and how to run a socialist economy effectively.
