The major corps have abandoned gamers.

Maybe there’s hope in the startup world, but I am skeptical:

If this is even half as performant as they promise, it will be a game changer.

However, I’m old enough to remember what happened to 3DFX. I really don’t want Nvidia to eat this company.

      this does not inspire confidence.

Introducing the Fastest Graphics Processor Ever

We built a completely new graphics processor to enable faster renderings and simulations for users in the creative, gaming, and research industries.

      GPU where?

I thought the same thing. There was a graph for ray tracing but nothing else about the GPUs. This looks to be selling an idea, not an actual product.

Weird how quickly they forget how close they were to actual bankruptcy before Zen. Guess you’re going back down the hole again?

I know y’all hate AI, and I mostly do, but the only drop here is a drop in the bucket. 40% sounds bad, but…

“Meanwhile, its gaming revenue crashed 40% from a year ago to $773 million,”

The chart in the article spells this out.

Sorry, no company owes us video cards. LOL, but we’ll remember after the bubble pops!

God their gaming segment is nothing compared to data centers revenue. It’s the company. Gaming is a company club at this point.

They spend more on “other” than they make on gaming. Wild

Nobody wanted aeroplanes. But as soon as they become jet liners…yeah also most people don’t want to ride them. Something about the inusual 600ph into the ground has everyone terrified.
