He always was the whole entire time.

He bragged about being a massive pos and people willingly gave him hundreds of millions of dollars for it.

Being a wealthy teumptard pales compared to some of the other stuff.

Sometimes it takes a good shakeup to see how fucked up everything that you’ve been putting up with has been. Really makes you look back and go oh god. The me too movement was/is that for a lot of people - for others, apparently it just went over their heads.

Not really, he’s just a sell out. Always has been which is not surprising. Many hip-hop and pop stars are braindead sellouts that will chase the bag no matter what.

Snoop was vocal against trump until he got crypto paycheck with no direct association which is just enough to justify selling out.

We should be canceling all these fucking spineless shills - their art is not as valuable as the health of society. Surely we can replace Nicki Minaj or Snoop Dogg with other artists that pack at least some spine - none of this work is that important.

Honestly, her stunt is what epitomises America in my eyes (and I wish it wasn’t so). So many wonderful things have come out of America, things that have made my life more liveable, such as a huge amount of wonderful music and movies.

If she cared that much about the homeless, she’d have donated a decent sum of money or perhaps even more of impact would’ve come from volunteering at a soup kitchen for a week or even two perhaps.

The clipboard is merely the icing on the gag, it’s so on the nose.

Pretty sure those dogs cost like $10k each too. Chow Chow and a Frenchie, I’ve heard people discussing their designer prices at Martha’s Vineyard.

Are you fucking kidding me!? I kept looking because surely I’m missing something, right? But no, it’s just a rich, famous, out-of-touch white lady pretending to be unhoused as a super-hilarious goof. Oh, and one that’s hungry, too. It’s funny because it’s like she’s miserable because she has no food or clean clothes or shelter! Get it??? It’s even cringe that she uses a clipboard, instead of cardboard like every single person experiencing homelessness that has to beg to survive…

Martha, I remember when your cheating of the system and exploiting everyone else was so blatant that your home was jail for 5 months.

The filthy rich don’t ever get any criticism, they are surrounded by servile sycophants.

They pay people to go through their media accounts and erase every negative comment. Not even kidding, that’s a real job.

So, they’re just a wee bit out of touch.

This is what happens when you insulate yourself from reality, rich or poor; see Reddit for details.

There’s only two people that dress like they live on the streets. The people that actually live there, and rich people who have never lived on the streets.

And trades people. When I go to the city I’m often worse dressed than the unhoused. My pants are covered in glue and my coat is worn and dirty. Once I was waiting for a bus and stirring my coffee and someone tried to put money in it.

Maybe it’s my trade, or maybe it’s me…

I mean, I don’t want to wear my good jeans to work. They actually give us outfits, but I still wear crummy clothes in to change. The building is filthy and I don’t want that on my good clothes. Also my partner wouldn’t be happy about it.

My friend, if I see someone dressed like they’re a painter or whatever IMO that’s way different than someone living on the street.

You can buy new work pants you know. My boss who lives in a 7 figure home had ragged holes in his pants. Had to scold him.

I’ve gotten holes in my pants the first day I wore them doing manual labor. If they’re still covering my junk and protecting the important parts, I’m still wearing them.

My problem is that my good pants accidentally become work pants but they still pant just fine. I draw the line at ragged holes personally. As you say, it bothers other people a lot more than it bothers me.

Imagine seeing another human begging for help and rather than doing anything about it you make a mockery of their situation to get a few laughs from your friends.

Reminds me of Mievilles article “on social sadism”:

It occurred a little after the high point of the jocular pleb-sneer: two years, instead, into the eruption of the financial crisis, simultaneously with a historic peak in foreclosures. Nearly 2.9 million US properties had foreclosure actions against them initiated in 2010 – huge numbers improperly, even according to the system’s own rules – up 2 per cent from 2009, itself a record. Millions were fighting, and failing, not to lose their homes. These 2010 Halloween celebration occurred at the Buffalo, New York, law offices of Stephen J Baum, a specialist firm acting mainly for banks and lenders. It was what’s known as a ‘foreclosure mill’, the largest of its kind in the state: its expertise was evicting the poor.

This wasn’t, then, some generalised, timeless jeer. It was more specific and pointed, gleeful malice at those whose lives were, at that very moment, being ruined, directed at them by those doing the ruining.

In the photos, props embody favourite ideologemes of the rich: the booze, the misspelt signs denouncing the injustice. The homeless are drunkards; the homeless are stupid; the homeless take no responsibility. But these gestures are perfunctory; they make no attempt to convince. The anonymous former employee who leaked the images in 2011 did so aghast at what she called a ‘cavalier attitude’, but what’s on display is the opposite: not cavalier, but considered. She decried a ‘lack of compassion’, but what’s visible is a swaggering presence – of cruelty.

‘Will worke [sic]’, one sign reads, ‘for Food.’ The sign’s the prop of a comedian waiting for the laugh. The homeless are starving. We made them homeless and now they’re starving. Laugh laugh laugh laugh.

If a regular person did a hobo costume, no one would care. I don’t think any rich person can get away with that without criticism.
