I personally take it further. I am antitheist because I have seen the damage that false beliefs can cause. I’m not bigoted towards religions. Religions are bigoted towards reality, the one we actually live in. Religion kills.

If I had to pick a core belief, it would be “truth is most important”. It’s wrong to pretend a god exists if there is no evidence for it, whether or not I want it to be true.
