Hey there. Looking for advice.

I’ve been moderating !stoner_rock@sh.itjust.works for a month or two.
I’ve cleaned some things up, and with some regular posting, my subscriber count is going up. I’m seeing more participation, vote counts are going up. People seem to like it.

I’ve been thinking about reaching out to other related comms to link to each other, and I’m not too sure how well that would go. So far, not well.

I looked up the mod of a metal comm and realized it was abandoned, mod was afk for 3 years, just like stoner_rock was before I adopted it. I don’t want to volunteer to mod it.

I sort of want to post to the abandoned comm, inviting them to visit. Would that be rude? I’d like to see some solidarity between the hard music comms.
