Hello, I’m not seeing OP’s responses on a thread, but i can see them in an alt piefed.blahaj.zone account.
But i realized it was because i have blocked OP previously.
So my question is, if I have blocked them, why can i read their post? Is there something wrong with my account?
I suppose the first troubleshooting step is to find a desktop computer and see if using a different client other than Blorp is any different?

I’m not sure I understand. You said you can’t see them on your main account, but you can on your alt. If you blocked them on your main account, but not on your alt, that’s what you should expect to see. If that’s not the situation, can you clarify for me?
According to the post, they are surprised that blocking someone only hides the comments, but not the posts by that blocked user.

Does blocking not block posts from the blocked user by design?
As far as I’m aware, it’s client side only. It doesn’t stop content federating to the piefed instance, because other people can still see it. As for why you can see posts, but not comments from a blocked user, I’d test that on the default piefed web interface and see if it works the same there. If piefed default hides posts too, then it’s an issue with the app you’re using. If piefed default shows it, then it’s a question for the piefed dev!

I wasn’t seeing their replies to any of the comments anyone had left on their post, but i did see their post with no indication that i had them blocked.
