There’s socks with actual toes, so I’d say that’s a safe assumption.
i put on my socks (which i wear with slipper constantly, not the toe stuff though on either one) and thought, hmm, if i was more particular, i’d probably think about this.
I buy a lot of socks from Stance which have patterns printed on them. They mark left and right so the patterns look correct when worn.

see, i had no idea. So far I am learning a lot of different things about sock.
My dad always marks his L&R as well as with a pair-marking so that he doesn’t wear one sock out more than another… He’s a bit of a weirdo sometimes, but I love him nonetheless.
That’s exactly what I was picturing! I am nowhere near that organized.
