Why not become a farmer? You can abuse hundreds of animals every day and eventually kill them.

When I first heard about HeeHaw, I legit teared up. Bonds with equines is something different than anything else. I’ve never been closer to any creature, both human and animal, than I have been with my horses. I can’t imagine how devastated HeeHaw’s family is…

This is just pure stupid. You go to someone’s farm, unannounced, I assume enter their pasture, and then get surprised when one of the animals comes up to you and start making noise? He’s lucky he didn’t catch a bullet for wandering into someone’s property unannounced.
How about this, take his gun away, and I know a field that has a bull in rut that might have the “missing person” he was looking for, he can go right out in the middle and look around all he likes.
that fucking cop should go straight to jail, charged with torturing an animal, charged with killing an animal, charged for trespassing, charged for destruction of property, then swiftly convicted and sentenced to a decade or more in prison without parole. and upon release never be allowed to own firearms again, never be allowed to work in law enforcement or private security or private investigation ever again, and be barred from working or living with animals.

I grew up on a farm, and a donkey is one of the few farm animals that would actually instill fear in me if I was being charged. Even a bull wouldn’t worry me as much.
It was at a petting zoo. It was thoroughly socialized and spent time around children all day.
What is this, anti-donkey propaganda? Show me that study that says donkeys - as in, more than one - stomp any predatory animal “for fun”.

Police shot a pet donkey in the USA, I think. The officer had gone on the pasture without permission, and when the donkey went curiously to check them out, they shot it.
