Before the actual election you should be voting for and building up and pushing your policies and people of choice.
When it is finally down to the actual election you only have who is on the ballot. If that isn’t your guy, suck it up and vote for the least-worst.
If you want your guy on the ballot next time, then work harder to build up before the damn deadline.
As a metaphor: Too many people don’t study until the day of the test and then complain that the test isn’t fair and skip school that day and fail.
I have 0 love for the Blue party, but if it’s only a Blue vs a Red then I’m voting for Blue ALL DAY LONG SO THERE WONT BE MORE RED!!! How is that so hard to understand???
