Yes. You read that right. Johnson is saying that he is intentionally hiding insurrectionists from prosecution in the release of tapes that Republicans claim will vindicate them on January 6th.

        They really did. One of my neighbors is a cop and always talks about “don’t break the law and you won’t have a problem”, “just comply”, “fuck around and find out”, etc.

        Then when she got shot, he was outraged. He was showing me the video expecting me to be equally mad. I was like “damn, I can’t believe that law enforcement gave her that many chances to back down.” My neighbor still thinks she was some kind of hero.

          Bullets are expensive. Just rebuild the gallows they assembled.

          Public hangings go a long way to deter treason.
          I draw that conclusion from the lack of hangings and correlative increase in treason.

            Just rebuild the gallows they assembled.

            They were never going to hang someone from those gallows. They were shoddy work, would have collapsed if they tried. They would have had to execute people some other way if they’d won.
