    Another late-stage job interview, another job I didn’t get. This time, the company eliminated the role before hiring anyone! What fun!

    I really should be spending my period of unemployment building up some of my atrophied technical skills, but I’m so tired. I fell into burnout after getting laid off, and I’m trying to do everything I can to take that seriously and recover, but being unemployed is terrifying, and I’ve accumulated so much exhaustion…

    Took the RAADS-R questionnaire two weeks ago, and got a score significantly above the threshold. Was kind of stunned for a moment, then hopeful. Then I began reading more about autism, and holy shit I can’t believe its been right there this whole time. A lifetime of feeling alienated and profound unbelonging and the answers were here all along, I just didn’t know where to look.

    I’ve been looking at gaming machines for the future. I could get a reasonably powerful machine (refurbed) for 900$ (it will play the types of games I play.) this of course is not for a very long while. Once I recover financially from that adhd assessment

    Also, speaking of the adhd I apparently don’t have, I broke the cardinal rule of doing the laundry. I walked away while the twin tub washer was filling up and now my bathroom is soaked. Yes, it overflowed because I walked away.

    Also, let’s compare cats.

        I’m thinking doing the same thing. Buying a reasonable gaming machine and just upgrading some of the bits as I see fit.

        Yup. They don’t get along well, so this was good that they existed on the same furniture as each other

        And yeah, thanks AI. ram and gpus are expensive as shit :/
