Definitely number one best thing about Palworld vs Pokémon is being able to catch humans in pokeballs. It just makes sense! If your pokeball can catch the mythical dragon who created all of reality or whatever, it can definitely catch Jan from accounting. Plus, it really makes you stop and think about the ethics of catching pals and making them work in your factory.
The idea that not only is the person your slave, but they become unable to say anything but their name is some extra fridge horror.
And then forced to battle in a dogfighting ring because we interpret them repeating their name as a sign that they love it
