After losing their initial landing party to hooded people using a strange weapon that renders Lieutenant Sulu a mindless automaton, Captain Kirk beams down to a primitive planet where people are completely docile and speak of joy… until they become mad with rage and passion at the stroke of a clock. Kirk’s party seeks shelter in a building run by three men. One of them seems to be less comfortable about what is going on and simply says it is all the will of Landru.
