I’m out there hanging election posters, protesting and engaging in direct action, we’re trying to community-build in my little town, but it still feels like I’m having no impact at all… we really could need the support of a social democratic party in Germany, but sad as it is we don’t really have one anymore.
You need to see it the other way around. Every little bit of community building you do helps against establishing the fascist ideology in society. You have to remember that fascism in itself is a radical movement. The majority of the population don’t support their ideas, they need acceptance first to gain power.
Social democracy in itself was always unable act against fascism so sadly there won’t be any help coming from them.
