Hate to break it to you: Ice isn’t an animal.

If you were kept in a temperature that caused your flesh to melt away until there was nothing left but a puddle, you were dead LONG before your lungs filled with blood, (if that even happened at all) so, it’s fun to say, but technically, not what’s happening.
