First season isn’t bad, it’s a little more grounded in reality. As a person who watched it when it premiered, it was something new and wild, but it’s definitely tamer, and also as someone mentioned, does not have the craziness of Danny Devito.
Danny devito is missing which leaves the season with less of their crazy energy. Also they started as a very small production with little money and I think that shows more in the first season.
Anyways, you can start with the first but just know that the show changes somewhat afterwards, it get’s better.
Start watching It’s always sunny in philadelphia, but skip season 1.
Why skip the fist? I haven’t watched it but people keep recommending it.
First season doesn’t have frank reynolds/danny devito so maybe that’s why
S1 is like 6 or 7 episodes and the show is pretty much all bottle episodes (with callbacks) so it’s pretty skippable as a result.

Doesn’t seem like an instant skip to me. But good to know that if I find it a bit tame then I can keep watching or skip to the next season.
