      Thats one of the hypothesis, it also could be a matter of using one thing for a secondary purpose that wasnt originally intended. I have opened a can with a nail puller on a hammer, dont think that was even a considered feature.

    • Interesting. I know those things for making 3D knitted tube-strings but those have only one (2D) plane of prongs and a single hole. Wonder if this could be used to knit 4D strings? (e: considering again, WTF! – It has 12 planes! So now i wonder if the interior space is really as “finite” as it appears…)
