U.S. conservatives aren’t satisfied oppressing and killing vulnerable people here in the U.S. They need to expand their death cloud to other vulnerable groups.

There is no such thing as a “good conservative” alive today. Conservatism is a plague of death that is long overdue for a cure.

Kevin McCarthy said that the two people he believes Russia owns are Dana Rohrabacher (?sp) and Donald Trump. And Tucker Carlson has been repeatedly promoted on Russian tv.

That is an incredibly overgeneralized view of the situation. It’s precisely this kind of polarization, and viewing everything in terms of black and white, that Putin and allies are reveling in.

Nearly every act of racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia and anti-semitism ever committed in the U.S. has been committed by conservatives.

Nearly every act of domestic terrorism ever committed in the U.S. has been committed by conservatives.

Nearly every bigot you will ever meet in the U.S. is an outspoken conservative.

I am fresh out of tolerance for conservatives. There is no place in a modern society for conservatism. Period.

Close minded, ignorant, and intolerant you are a trifecta.

Biden along with many other liberals were staunch supporters of segregation, Many leaders and members in the black rights movement are antisemitic, segregated spaces on campuses are a modern liberal idea,

Domestic terrorism has been used by liberal nutjobs for decades there were a bunch of liberal groups in 60s 70s and 80s that bombed federal buildings (weather underground, black Panthers, anarchists, …) It wasn’t until the 80s that right wing nut jobs started following the liberal terrorism playbook.

I doubt you’ve ever had tolerance for any idea that you didn’t agree with.

Biden is not a liberal. He is a neo-liberal. Neo-liberals are conservatives.

By actual bodycount, number of acts committed and financial loss, conservatives have committed almost all of the domestic terrorism the U.S. has ever experienced.

Your defense of fascism and fake opinions are a reminder that every word uttered by a conservative is deception or manipulation. Every word.

              There’s no true Scotsman…

Now you’ve moved the goalposts but you didn’t move them far enough. Your comrades killed a lot of people in the name of the greater good. The weather underground, SLA, NWLF, black Panthers… were responsible for hundreds of bombings in the 70s, that’s just one decade. The issue is your manifesto calls for violent overthrow of the government to start communism, and your comrades have been stupid enough to believe it.

You’ve made yourself quite a useful idiot.

Cool story, Sparky. I’d give you points for creativity, but you lifted all of your baby-brained talking points from Fox News, who testified in court (multiple times) that “no reasonable person” would believe their content is fact-based.

Can you even define “communist”? Lol. No one on the left gives the tiniest chicken fried fuck about communism. We just want conservative bigotry and oppression to go extinct. But, keep making up boogeyman words to stir your base of dipshits and Meal Team Six cosplayers.

Just as before, every word you vomit into existence is obvious deception or manipulation. No one here is fooled. So, scurry on back to Truth Social or Stormfront or NAMBLA or whatever other conservative hangout you crawled out of and have someone read my reply to you so you can become more enraged and confused.

We will likely end up having to support Ukraine on our own, if Trump’s re-elected. The US is no longer a reliable NATO ally.

The problem is that it takes time to build weapons factories and existing stockpiles are low. We can barely keep up manufacturing what we’ve promised, let alone increase what we’re giving.

Not like the Russians, who never throw anything away, and happily send their troops to the front with crap that the west would have scrapped decades ago. Obviously, that results in a lot of Russians dying or being maimed, but they don’t give a fuck about their own people.

It’s probably going to be fine. House Republicans have shit themselves in the foot so severely this will strengthen house Democrats.

There’s enough in reserve for the interim.

The problem right now is that Ukraine is doing well with their offensive and has a bunch of momentum same great morale. And they had plans (and hopes) as to where each side’s armies would end up when winter came, when both sides would start digging in and Russia start laying in major defenses against the spring. Now all of those plans are in jeopardy.

Also, Russia is going to see what kind of harm slowing US aid can cause Ukraine, and they’re going to redouble their efforts to manipulate both the Republican base and the Republican party, and to undermine the 2024 elections.

I think they’ll be fine. This whole shutdown thing has blown up in the Republicans faces. 45 days from now we’ll be doing this dumb shit again and Democrats have no incentive waiver.

This was a big wide crack that just opened up in the Republican house. Dems may be able to fully sunder the far right from just regular rightwings in the next fight.

This will be a dumb question so apologies but I’ve started to wonder this.

If EU commits 100 odd billion to Ukraine, how does Ukraine receive that money? Are they essentially budgeting 100 billion for purchasing supplies and weapons? I assume Ukraine has a national bank to process these electronically.

There was an article posted here somewhere, talking about the civilian impact of losing money from the US. It basically said aid was keeping the economy going, including paying all public employees
