The NFL announced a $5 million donation to organizations working to support communities that have been devastated by the wildfires in the Los Angeles area this week.
You’re the largest sport league in the country and you donate $5m? That’s gonna help about twelve people. C’mon.

For a median person making $50K that’s the equivalent of donating $250.
And that’s only assuming a NW of 1 billion and one owner donation.
Thank goodness we have the NFL and their $5 million dollars.
That’s like $2 million less than a 30-second advertising spot during the Super Bowl.
$5 million is marketing for them to try to make them look good, and a tax write off.
