Republican Rep. Chip Roy said Tuesday that he doesn’t think House Speaker Mike Johnson has the necessary votes to remain speaker in Friday's leadership election.

That would be very funny, but I doubt it will happen.
It could totally happen, with the rules as they are now it’d be reversed before the gavel ever reached his hands though.
