Biden built the strongest safety net in U.S. history. Now it’s collapsing around him. - eviltoast

The child poverty rate more than doubled in 2022 as Covid-era aid programs expired, erasing major economic gains for the poorest Americans.

Too bad an Executive Act could’ve made that negligible, but I’m glad that Biden and the democrats insist on playing by the rules when their opponents are bragging about cheating

That’s not what you said though. You literally said Joe Biden was complicit. Which requires intent.

If you watch a child getting beat up by an adult and you choose not to intervene even though you have every right to do so, does that inaction not show complicity with the situation?

Joe Biden has every legal right to do more, and every day makes an active decision not to. That shows complicity through inaction.

If you attempt to intervene and a police officer subdues you and puts you in handcuffs and sits you down, are you complicit?

Biden is not a dictator. He cannot unilaterally wave his magic wand and turn the US into a socialist paradise. That’s not how government works.

Completely irrelevant. Answer my question without making weird extrapolation "what about"s.

                    Biden is not a dictator

Trump set so many legal precedents for what a EO could do. Biden has the full right to do more, but chooses not to. That’s my entire argument.

See my comment above about Democrats insisting on playing by the rules when the other team is openly bragging about cheating. You Biden dick riders who don’t demand more from the Democratic Party will be the reason we end up killed by the Repiblicans who aren’t afraid to take radical action. You’re either a Conservative yourself or just dumb if you can’t see how dire things are in America right now.

an executive act can also be reversed by the next republican president
