Pull out your wallet. Smart TV costs are subsidized by the ad revenue generated. Be prepared to pay twice as much for the same panel with “features” removed.

Just buy any TV and never network it. I know Sony allows you to use it without ever connecting to a network.

Then connect anything you want such as an old laptop or set top box.

In the US, scepter makes a dumb TV. I just bought a 46" from walmart for like $200. Audio isn’t great so I had to get some good speakers.
