Sounds like the phone’s battery is weak and so whenever the phone needs a lot of power immediately from the battery it fails to give enough power to the device. That’s what it sounds like from here. So your saying its not a rom issue and actually its browning out and forgetting the interrupt (cpu wake) reason.
I also mentioned the battery screens because they are well known about, not because i saw them often.
