You’d think someone attempting to assassinate a former president would be fully committed and make every effort to go out in a hail of bullets if they failed. I’m sure this guy will be in prison for a long time but the fact that a would-be assassin wasn’t brought to an ICU or morgue after capture seems like an invitation for more of this.
