    Maybe they care about the series so much nothing they have tried has worked. If it were Disney there would be Half Life 100: Never Ending the game, action figures, Disney plus show, a Trilogy move series, and a holiday special.

      There’s a tendency for masterpieces to be unfinished – Berserk, The Silmarillion, Gogol’s Dead Souls, etc.

    I respect Valve for Steam. It’s far and away the best platform.

    But the bottom line is the Half-life series made Valve who they are. It made Gabe rich. Yet despite having all the money necessary to have all the resources necessary, they abandoned the series, letting millions of die hard fans down.

    I’ve never seen a more beloved game series simply abandoned.

    For that there is no forgiveness, Gabe.
