I have a question on this. Suppose I had my work Mac stolen, and the thief knew my computer password. Passkey normally requires fingerprint (or Touch ID to be fancy), but I’ve discovered that once you close the lid, and connect it to an external monitor, it reverts back to your Mac password. Isn’t that a single point failure, as now only one thing is required to login? I mean, passkey doesn’t even require password, either. Just one click and you’re done.
