I had reddit but was never a big user of it, hopping on only for events or to look stuff up. But once I got into federated services and learned about Lemmy I gave it a go. Pretty sure I’ve used lemmy more then reddit at this point
Better search results on major search engines. Not gonna sit here and act like I know what I’m talking about but the major benefit of Reddit was being able to search a question and add “reddit” to the search and getting relevant results from years of posts.
I’d love to see lemmy reach that point as thats honestly been my only reason to open reddit recently
such a big feature
Watch Dogs, just got caught up with other things
the wooden trims here look beautiful
one of my first html/css projects was a real simple linktree type page. This would be a great entry to learning/trying it out
not an alternative to tracking the shows but libremdb is a imdb front end you might find interesting.
i’ve got a used dell optiplex laying around for any bigger projects so a pi would be for tinkering with and small scale stuff. I didn’t have a good grasp of how slow it would run though thank you
How’s the Pi 3? I was considering the idea of getting one to avoid the crazy prices for newer models
Oh no I can install apps, spotify/netflix work fine and I saw plenty of options. I just noticed facetime wasn’t supported and from scrolling through the most downloaded apps it felt like stuff was missing but I could easily be wrong.
Got this yesterday so I’m still figuring everything out
Poptropica Skullduggery Island
I’m unable to play modern pirate games because i compare them all to this insanely simple flash game and I don’t get the same vibes
i imagine you won’t have an issue with spam in signal considering the .## they add to every username.
But in general the more distinct it is the less likely you’ll have someone nagging you.
If you want to avoid building a footprint of similar usernames my favorite is just switching out some letters (o’s to u’s or a’s to e’s stuff like that) or taking out specific letters entirely (ex: ottr)
using something along the lines of “someone’s gotta do it” always works for me
Would totally move to a different state, meet new people, different country tho? Not now at least
Didn’t know about Ctrl shift y thanks for this!
can vouch reinstalled bitwarden recently and it got enabled automatically, had no clue about the feature so it was a welcomed change
